MEET THE OWNER
Fern Pegus, Founder & Head Dragon
Fern has a long history in Jefferson, graduating from Jefferson High School in 1988. She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia and spent a couple of years in the Caribbean researching Sea Turtles. After moving to the Atlanta area Mrs. Pegus started her own Accounting Services Company and has been helping small businesses for the last 18 years. She has also acted as an officer in multiple companies and has extensive management and planning experience. Mrs. Pegus served on the Board of Directors for the non-profit, North Gwinnett Arts Association, which educates children and adults in the Arts.
Mrs. Pegus has been married to her husband for 13 years and they have a 12-year-old daughter.
MEET THE DIRECTOR
Donna Samples
We are so excited to announce that we have hired Donna Samples as our Director for Dragon Academy. Ms. Donna has a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Reading & Literacy.
Donna has been working with children in the childcare industry for over 20 years and has been a successful Director for over 15 years. In her spare time she enjoys photography, as well as spending time with her husband Scott and their three children camping. Ms. Donna is a joy to be around and we are so lucky to have her!

OF COMPLIANCE
Lindsay Harrison
Lindsay has worked with children of all ages for 17 years and has 4 years of director experience. She has her associate degree in Psychology and has taken several early childhood education courses. She lives in Jefferson with her husband and two children. She has a 5-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter who both attend Dragon Academy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing at home. She is very excited to be a part of our family!
